CODE OF CONDUCT

The Windermere hotel is a premier 4 star establishment with a good reputation in the hospitality industry. The hotel is situated in a residential area in the upmarket beachfront suburb of Humewood, Port Elizabeth. In order to ensure that our beautiful property is not only enjoyed by our guests but treated with respect, the following rules will apply:

  1. Only paying guests are allowed on these premises.
  2. No entertaining of outside guests without prior authorisation from management. Management has the right to ask non-paying guests/visitors to vacate the premises by 24h00.
  3. A maximum of 2 people per suite if booked on a double rate and only one person per suite if booked on a single rate. Should a 2nd person stayover that was not booked for, a R1000 penalty will be charged to your account. Only paying guests are allowed access to the suites.
  4. No loud noise after 22h00.
  5. Guests and visitors may not cause any nuisance or disturbances to other guests or visitors. Any action detrimental to fellow guests (paying or non-paying) will result in immediate enforcement of these rules and possible expulsion from the hotel premises as provided for herein below.
  6. All guests shall be liable for all persons invited or allowed onto the premises (whether authorised by the Hotel’s management or not) in respect of financial or other loss or damage caused by such guest (paying and/or not paying) and generally for any breach of these rules.
  7. These rules are not capable of being waived or relaxed unless prior written authorisation of any proposed deviance of the rules is obtained from management.
  8. Management may enforce these rules by requiring any guest (paying or non-paying) to immediately vacate the hotel premise or any portion thereof upon a transgression of any of these rules, and reserves the right to enforce such removal. No refunds will be made to guests or visitors that had to be removed from the premises as result of breaching these rules, and guests will remain liable for the total charge (including future charges) unless another guest can be found.
  9. All guests and visitors are to take note that the hotel premises (excluding rooms) are constantly monitored by CCTV cameras with sound recording.
